HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TIFFANY AND FERNANDO RAMIREZ Married January 13, 2024

Tiffany and Fernando Ramirez – July 13, 2024 <--- already married, but a "real" ceremony!

I would like to spend the next couple of minutes telling the true story about Tiffany and Fernando met.

Their journey began back in 2017 in the heart of Nashville TN. At the time, they both worked for the same bustling company. Fernando was a diligent worker in the warehouse area, and Tiffany handled the intricate details of inventory management. Their paths first crossed when Fernando wandered into Tiffany's office with a question. Little did they know that this seemingly ordinary moment would change their lives forever.

As he started talking, his humor and charm instantly brought a smile to Tiffany's face and made her laugh. Fernando relished that laugh and wanted nothing more than to make sure Tiffany would always laugh. From that day on, their conversations grew more frequent and meaningful. There was an undeniable connection between them. It wasn't long before Fernando gathered the courage to ask Tiffany out for dinner.

Their first date was magical. They laughed, shared stories, and discovered that they had so much in common. They felt as though they had known each other for a lifetime. After that memorable evening, they became inseparable.

In 2019, they took the significant step of moving in together, embarking on a wonderful new journey as partners. Their love continued to grow, and in 2021, they decided to start another new chapter by relocating to Houston TX. The move marked the beginning of a fresh adventure, filled with hope and excitement. Then came a day etched forever in Tiffany's memory January 13th, 2024.

The day started like any other, but it quickly turned into a momentous occasion. Fernando surprised Tiffany with breakfast in bed, a gesture so sweet and thoughtful. As she savored the delicious meal, she noticed a gleam in his eye and a huge smile on his face. Just as she was about to ask Fernando what was going on, he got down on one knee, holding a beautiful ring and one hand, and asked the question that made Tiffany's heart race: "Will you marry me?" Overwhelmed with joy and excitement, she exclaimed. "Yes!"

Now in the time leading up to the wedding today, they found themselves filled with immense happiness and anticipation. They cannot wait to celebrate and continue their love story with their beloved friends and family.

The journey that began with a simple question in 2017 has blossomed into a beautiful love story and they are thrilled to begin this next chapter of their lives as husband and wife.

And here we are today.

Fernando and Tiffany, are you ready to proclaim that the foundation of love that began in that warehouse in Nashville, the restaurant over dinner, during the stresses of a move to a new state, Are you ready to commit to one another in the sight of God and these witnesses?

Fernando and Tiffany said together, “We are!”

I remember this wedding vividly -- Dad had contacted me in July of 2024 to officiate. Tiffany and Fernando were already married. The wedding ran a bit late because wedding party members were running behind. My husband, George, had come with me to the wedding.

After the ceremony, my husband, George, and I were leaving. As we opened the front door of the Harlandale Civic Center to exit, the caterer was there with a 3-tiered rolling cart with the pans of whatever was being served for the reception. I stepped aside and held the door open so he could wheel in. He said, "Oh, no thank you, I've got it." The sidewalk was a bit sloped, and there was construction right beside it where the Center was laying a new sidewalk. George and I continued toward our car, only to hear a crash behind us. We turned to see the caterer had lost control of the cart and it had overturned, spilling the contents of all the food pans into the dirt of the construction area! There was no recovery possible ... we just got in our car and left. Wondering what the wedding guests were going to eat.
